What I Do
I am a modern, humanistic counseling astrologer. Rather than using medieval techniques to make concrete predictions, my approach is focused on using the psychological accuracy of astrology to put life experiences into a context of personal evolution that is empowering and growth-oriented.
Everybody is different. Modern astrology at its best is a short-cut to practical wisdom - tailored to each individual, immediately available, and aligned to your highest good.
What is a session like?
It's a fascinating conversation! It is also a firehose of information. I point out elements of your birth chart that are typically associated with certain personality characteristics. Though many people know their Sun sign, there is much more to the chart. When all of the planets are taken into account, a theme emerges that can illuminate more than personality traits. It can help us discover fulfilling life goals and career choices. It can reveal our blind spots and self-defeating tendencies. And by clearly illuminating our unique perspective on life, it can provide us the self-awareness to recognize how we can let go of old patterns and embrace healthy, fulfilling relationships.
Do you tell the future?
The future is created in the present. We create it every moment through our thoughts, emotions, and actions. There is no way to say with 100% certainty what is going to happen. Astrology provides a framework of determining what is probable based on what already exists. Our free will is the determining factor. When we go through life on autopilot, life indeed becomes predictable. It also becomes devoid of the energy, creativity and connection that make life worth living. At its best, the astrology that I practice explains why you are the way you are, how you can be the best version of yourself, and inspires you to create the future you want.
